Take a review on Alfred the young programmer from the Eastern Cape in a city of Queenstown. This young man says programming has been a big changer to his life and on his career paths from deferent sources where he had to learn on his way along on the programming field.

My name is Alfred my surname is Ngqolwazana I’m from a small family I have two brothers and two sisters. One brother is older than me and one sister is older than me too and the other two brother and sister are younger than me. I started my passion of being a programmer at the age of 29 I have love for it at a time I had no idea where to start the process of getting moving on this field of programming. What I’m about to share is real and I come a long way with this programming but there’s one thing I realised though programming and developing are likely corresponding on one other.

The reason I say this is because I first started with developing on my own. and I started programming while I was at school 2008. I was doing grade 10 at that time on my school subject I did mathematics and physical sciences including CAT which is computer application technology they say back than. I had no idea where my future lies at the time it took me 3 years to finish up CAT on those years. 

Remember I started CAT on grade 10 to grade 12 after my matric year I decided to take a gap year due to life situations so back than I started showing a certain interest on mobile devices. Since it was the only gadget I could afford when I first bought my first phone I remember it was E250 Samsung galaxy this started with a interest of having email at the time and I also wanted to be popular online on social media platforms like Facebook 2go Mxit and many more. Facebook back than was highly regarded as a social media for grown up we as younger boys we where recommend on Mxit and 2go at that time.

 Than after 2 to 3 years of my life time one friend of mine bought a laptop and remember back than Laptops where not that easy to have at an early ages but my friend and I we were doing the same subjects at school. We started saving up some money to buy data so that we could explore on how Technology transformation take place we would be online for hours not knowing what to do until I came up with an idea of building my self a website for my self at the time. But those where the good old days for us. Then I had to leave town from town to town with the idea of searching for help on how to build a website lucky me I moved to a suburb where I could connect my smart phone to a wi-fi hotspot. 

I would spend lot more hours at the wi-fi hotspot search for all the relevant information I could find to succeed in my mission. I started with a unique email address which was outlook email address that’s where I started to explore big things about IT professionals I kept on digging for more. After a year on 2012 I became a windows insider at that time I was using Lumia Microsoft Windows phone I started to have the vision of becoming an influencer I opened up a YouTube channel for my self.

 During those days I left aside programming than a year later I went back to a Gmail where I started the real deal of programming I was first brought into html which at a time I had no clue what was html means or stands for. I started realizing that I’m one step closer into what I’ve been seeking for I used both email outlook and Gmail email address but I could find closure with an outlook compared to Gmail than. A year later I was interested in a Google account that’s where I started my development skills than I went for it I engage my self on Google account which I could see or experience a easy way out on what I was seeking the past few years of archiving my goal. 

I could spend long hours on my phone online than I started learning more about programming which at the time I had little information about programming languages which html, java script etc when I started realising that I was into programming. I started building a blogspot for my self than few months later I managed to build a website for my self after few months later I created a online store. And that’s how I saw that I was on a go to archive my goal as a programmer since than I never let go of what I was will to archive with an outlook email. Few months later I got an invitation from Microsoft Ignite which was held in Santon Johannesburg 2019. Were I started learning lot more about Technology transformation with different types of Microsoft learning paths or outcomes and after I came back from Microsoft I had an motive that I would get a paying job but I guess I was wrong. 

I had to go a long way to find a paying job I ended up thinking of using all the knowledge I have to make a living I started offering business development and advertising for small enterprises. remember I already having a blog and website than I struggled to find clients at the time but my ego wouldn’t let me quit on what I was doing.

I started to learn again via my outlook email account from Microsoft that there are lot more career paths I could find with this outlook account I learned alot from Microsoft. I  even met with different types of programmers online via my Xbox live account than I started learning e-Learning paths at Microsoft Developers since today.

 Now I’m developing websites I’m designing Google online store I’m helping small business on digital marketing strategies I build website card I’m a SEO friendly IT person I even go for  freelance Marketer jobs online. And I’m happy to be the person that I am even though I have not been noticed by any company that I wished to work for. 

For the record I would like to advise everyone that its never to late to fight for what you believe you can do it. It starts with you and online learning is real but you need a professional to coach you on every step in order to succeed.
